A nearly 30-person bike will make the rounds again today as part of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba’s Big Bike event.

Twenty-nine people are pedalling the oversized bike through the community in support of HSFM.

On Wednesday, the bike arrived at The Forks and will continue its journey today by leaving the Manitoba legislature at 11 a.m. and riding down Assiniboine Avenue, up Fort, down Broadway and back to the legislature’s south lawn by 2 p.m. The 30-foot long bike will follow the same route on Friday between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Each year, participants put more than 12,000 kilometres on HSFM bikes.
