U of M Hosts Panel on Society’s Aging Baby Boomers

By Brian Schultz

A speaker series at the University of Manitoba tonight will look at the challenges and opportunities facing the “baby boomer” population.

Our Aging Society: Are We Ready? will feature speakers who will discuss everything from Canada’s changing health care system to what’s on our shelves in the grocery store.

Some of the university’s leading minds will be present for the discussion, which will be hosted by U of M president David Barnard.

A reception in the galleria of the Robert B. Schultz Theatre at St. John’s College will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The panel discussion will begin at 7 p.m. and run until 8:30 p.m.

To attend, RSVP by e-mail to government_community@umanitoba.ca.
