Misericordia Health Centre Foundation's "Angel Squad" (HANDOUT)
The 16th annual Angel Squad will be out and about starting Tuesday morning in support of the Misericordia Health Centre Foundation.
The angels will be collecting donations between 7:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. until Thursday on the Maryland Bridge, encouraging commuting motorists to make a donation to help fund a rooftop garden and solarium for Misericordia’s long-term care residents.
In exchange for a donation, drivers will receive a Starbucks beverage, baked treat and a copy of the day’s Winnipeg Free Press.
