Winnipeg’s QX104 is hiring an afternoon drive host.
The country music radio station recently posted the position, looking for a capable candidate to host a live show, voice track shifts as scheduled, prepare material for the show and update interactive content, such as blogs, Facebook and Twitter.
The deadline to apply is December 30, 2011.
On the other side of town, Corus Entertainment is hiring a promotions coordinator to work at Power 97, CJOB and 99.1 FM.
Responsibilities include executing all aspects of on-air promotions and external events, including maintenance of contests, writing and coordinating scripts, booking promotional announcements, assistance at live events, and other duties related to the job.
The deadline to apply is January 13, 2012.
