Corus Entertainment Winnipeg has begun the process of finding a replacement to fill the general manager position at its three local radio stations.
Former GM Garth Buchko resigned earlier this month to take on the role of president and CEO with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Buchko will assume his new position March 1.
The new Corus GM will oversee all aspects of CJOB, Power 97 and 99.1 FM, and have a minimum of eight to 10 years of relevant and successful general management experience.
The deadline to apply is January 30, 2012.

On the other side of town, Metro Winnipeg is hiring a digital reporter for its news operation at the corner of Portage and Main.
The free daily newspaper is seeking a candidate with reporting, interviewing, writing and editing skills, as well as a passion for multi-platform journalism and social media.
The chosen one will report directly to the managing editor.
