‘Masala Mixer’ to Benefit Victoria Hospital Foundation

March 2, 2012 6:49 AM | News

The Victoria General Hospital Foundation will be the beneficiary proceeds raised from an Indian-themed soiree tonight.

The Masala Mixer VI, held at East India Company, will be a fundraiser organized by an immigrant looking to give back.

“Every day I am so thankful for the opportunities that Manitoba has given my family,” said the company’s co-owner Sachit Mehra. “The Masala Mixer is our way of giving back to the community that has given us so much.”

The night will include a combination of modern East Indian culture and legendary Manitoba hospitality. In the past, the Masala Mixer has raised $70,000 for Manitoba organizations.

DJ Sohandsum will be spinning as guests will enjoy a complimentary wine tasting and appetizers, a henna tattoo booth and an out of this world dance floor experience.

Tickets are $30 each at MasalaMixer.ca.
