Jets’ Bogosian Undergoing Wrist Surgery on Friday

Winnipeg Jets’ defenceman Zach Bogosian will undergo surgery on Friday to correct an injury on his right wrist.

The Jets lead physician, Dr. Peter MacDonald, issued the following statement on Thursday:

“Winnipeg Jets defenceman, Zach Bogosian, has been diagnosed with a chronic ligament tear in his right wrist. During off-season training, Zach experienced discomfort and was limited in his performance. Zach will thus undergo surgery this upcoming Friday performed by Dr. Thomas Graham at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.”

According to a news release from the team, Dr. Graham has assisted the Jets medical and training staff with other players. Besides the NHL, he has also performed surgery on athletes in the NBA and Major League Baseball.
