A group of Manitoba musical acts will compete live on Saturday, March 2 on the Manitoba Songfest 2013 results show on Shaw TV.
Brent Alarie, Mobina Galore, Termanill, Maxine Peters, Ryan Van Belleghem and Kelly Bado will be battling it out for a televised profile, radio airplay, 8 hours of studio time from ClearLightSound and the title of Manitoba’s favourite song.
The show will air a series of pre-taped interviews with the artists at the Park Theatre. Viewers can vote for their favourite artist via text message, which will then be combined with a jury of music and media professionals.
Last year, rock band TroubleshoT won with their song “Burning Days,” scoring 36 out of 40 possible points.
The show will air at 7 p.m.
