Winnipeg lawyers are brushing up on their acting skills for an upcoming play at the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre.
Legally Blonde: The Musical will be the production of choice as the annual fundraiser members of the Manitoba Bar Association participate in.
The cast of almost 30 lawyers are perfecting their “bend and snap” as part of the role, taking place April 23-27 at the Tom Hendry Warehouse.
“We are very fortunate to have an amazing pool of talent within the Manitoba Bar Association, who assist us year after year in producing an outstanding performance,” said MBA president Karen Wittman. “We are both delighted and grateful for the opportunity this event provides to support arts in Winnipeg.”
Since 1990, the event has raised more than $850,000 for MTC programming.
Tickets are $100 per person and include a post-show wine and food reception with a $70 tax receipt. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling (204) 942-6537.
