Sport Manitoba will induct four athletes, two builders, one all-rounder and two teams this weekend.
The 2013 Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremonies will be held Saturday, November 2 at the Victoria Inn.
Inductees include:
- Faye Finch (athlete) — All round
- John T. Haig* (curling) — Builder
- Dale Hawerchuk (hockey) — Athlete
- Corey Koskie (baseball) — Athlete
- Shannon Shakespeare (swimming) — Athlete
- Bill Wedlake (basketball) — Builder
- Art Werier (table tennis — All round
- 1936/42 and 49 Ken Watson curling teams
- 1983-88 Carman Goldeyes baseball team
*Being inducted posthumously
The ceremony will begin at 8:10 p.m. following a dinner.
