The Half Moon Drive In in Lockport will rock the banks of the Red River this summer.
July 12-13 is when the popular Henderson Highway eatery will host Rockin’ On The Red, building on the success of celebrations last year to mark its 75th anniversary.
“After the great success of last years event, we had so much positive feedback from our customers and requests to host another event,” said owner Wayne McIntosh. “Putting on a family-fun event that brings the community together is just a small way to thank our valued customers for their continued support.”
Both festival days including a classic car show, hot air balloon rides, magicians, face painters and bouncy castles. Performances by local musicians begin daily at 4 p.m.
Festivities are free and will begin daily at noon and conclude each evening at 11 p.m. with a fireworks show.
