With the Winnipeg International Jazz Festival recently wrapped up, Jazz Winnipeg is already looking ahead to its upcoming fall season.
The curtain has been pulled back on the list of artists performing this year, including jazz fusion icon Chick Corea and his latest project The Vigil, Canadian songstress Jill Barber, folk-pop troubadour Royal Wood, Montreal-based pianist/vocalist Elizabeth Shepherd, progressive jazz trio BADBADNOTGOOD, and the fifth annual dig! Magazine Rent Party.
Organizers also announced a concert series for Brandon, Manitoba by Wood and Shepherd scheduled at the Lorne Watson Recital Hall at Brandon University.
Tickets for Chick Corea and The Vigil go on sale Thursday, July 10 at 10 a.m. at JazzWinnipeg.com or any Ticketmaster outlet. Tickets to all other Jazz Winnipeg concerts go on sale Friday, July 4 at 10 a.m.
