A Winnipeg clothing boutique is doing its part to help a non-profit organization spruce up its wardrobe to help clothe homeless youth.
Style Bar on River Avenue is asking customers to bring in used fall clothing from August 18-24 to be donated to RaY (Resource Assistance for Youth). Donors will be treated with a 20% discount off their store purchase.
Some items can include fall coats, purses, backpacks and bags.
It’s the second clothing drive, called Warm Up Your Wardrobe, Style Bar’s owner Regan Greenwood has organized for RaY.
The Denim for Denim drive was a success in January, bringing in more than 100 pairs of jeans for donation. Greenwood plans to make both clothing drives annual events.
You can follow the #warmupyourwardrobe hashtag on social media for further details.
