A 31-year-old woman from Portage la Prairie was struck and killed by a vehicle on Highway 305 Saturday night.
RCMP say the woman was walking northbound on Long Plain First Nation at around 8:30 p.m. when she was hit.
She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash and police continue to investigate.
