Advance tickets and passes are now on sale for this year’s Winnipeg Fringe Theatre Festival.
A slate of 182 performances are scheduled in 31 different venues this year, running July 15-26.
“Each year, we watch the entire city buzz with excitement for the festival and see thousands of people flock to the Exchange District to take in amazing independent theatre,” said Fringe Festival executive producer Chuck McEwen. “No matter what your style, your taste or sense of humour, there’s a show here for you to enjoy.”
Tickets are $10 and $5 for children 12 and under at the Kids Venue, and “Fringers” can save by purchasing a frequent fringer pass and see 14 shows for $109. Tickets are available online or in person at 174 Market Avenue.
Beginning July 13, Fringe patrons can also download the free Fringe Festival mobile app from iTunes and Google Play, featuring up-to-date news about show listings, free performances, schedule changes and other festival-related content.
