Manitoba Hydro has chosen Darren Rainkie as its interim president and CEO.
Rainkie is Hydro’s current vice-president of finance and regulatory affairs and chief financial officer.
“The search for a new president and CEO is proceeding well and we hope to have it completed within the next two months,” said Bill Fraser, chair of the Manitoba Hydro-Electric Board.
Rainkie takes over from Scott Thomson, who stepped down in the spring to be closer to his family in B.C. He will assume his new position on Friday.
