Siloam Mission is now accepting Canadian Tire money in the form of donations.
The Winnipeg homeless shelter has partnered with Canadian Tire on the initiative, who will match all donations to fight poverty and homelessness up to $5,000.
“We were looking for a new and unique way to connect with our community while still maintaining our giving mandate when it comes to Canadian Tire money,” said Jay Crowley, of the Vermillion Road store in Winnipeg.
“We are so impressed with the work being done at Siloam Mission, we felt it would be a good fit for the program.”
All Winnipeg Canadian Tire store owners are participating in this initiative.
All donations of Canadian Tire money for Siloam Mission can be dropped off at 300 Princess Street during regular business hours. Future drop off locations will be announced as the donation drive continues.
