Winnipeg police recovered a man’s body from the Red River on Wednesday afternoon near St. Vital Park.
Police say the identity of the deceased isn’t being released, pending notification of next of kin.
The river patrol responded at around 3:50 p.m. after a passerby called police.
An autopsy is pending and the cause of death is unconfirmed.
