A gun call on July 3 led to the discovery of $92,000 worth of marijuana at a Brandon motel.
Police responded to the 1800 block of 1st Street, but didn’t locate any firearms. However, officers came across 20.5 pounds of marijuana inside a large duffle bag in the trunk of the suspect’s car.
A 63-year-old Calgary man has been charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking. He will appear in Brandon court in August.
