Four Winnipeg Men Charged in Ontario Home Invasion

Police Crime SceneFour men from Winnipeg have been charged after a violent home invasion in London, Ontario last weekend.

Police say two males suffered minor injuries September 2 when several men entered a home on Essex Street armed with weapons, including a crowbar and handgun.

The suspects said they were police officers and had a search warrant for the residence.

When the real police arrived, the suspects took off but were arrested nearby following a foot chase.

Khalaf Shammo, 22, Mourad Shammo, 25, Falah Shammo, 27, and Headar Shammo, 31, all of Winnipeg, and Khalid Shammo Kheder, 18, of London, face break and enter, assault, weapons and personating a peace officer charges.

The suspects appeared in court on Tuesday.
