A portion of Carlton Street will be temporarily closed for two days next week for tower crane work.
The first closure will occur Tuesday, December 18 from 9 p.m. until 3 a.m. on Wednesday, December 19. Southbound Carlton Street from Graham Avenue to St. Mary Avenue will be closed to vehicles at this time. The same stretch of roadway will also close on Sunday, December 23 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Pedestrian access on Carlton Street will be maintained on the west sidewalk, and Winnipeg Transit buses will not be impacted.
Motorists should allow for additional travel time and use alternate routes in this area to reach their destinations.
