From December 29 to January 2, Pembina between Jubilee Avenue and Stafford Street will be closed to vehicles for rapid transit construction.

Portion of Southbound Tache Avenue Closed Beginning Today

From today until March 15, 2018, southbound Tache Avenue between Provencher Boulevard and Despins Street will be closed for river stabilization work.

The Tache Promenade project will allow for the northbound lane on Tache Avenue to remain open. Pedestrian access will be maintained on the east sidewalk. Additional lane closures will be required in the summer of 2018 for sidewalk widening and pedestrian belvedere construction.

City Looking to Increase Speed Limit on Stretch of Pembina Highway

The City of Winnipeg is considering increasing the speed limit on a portion of Pembina Highway in St. Norbert.

The speed limit review targets Pembina south of the La Salle River Bridge, which is currently 60 km/h. The city is recommending increasing the limit to 70 km/h as the roadway transitions into Highway 75.

Kenaston to Close Between Sterling Lyon and McGillivray This Weekend

The railway crossing that forces drivers in south Winnipeg to hit their brakes and swerve is scheduled for repair.

The city will close Kenaston Boulevard between Sterling Lyon Parkway and McGillivray Boulevard on Friday, October 20 at 6 p.m. to accommodate the work.
