Safety Improvements Planned for South Perimeter at Brady Road

WINNIPEG — The province is implementing safety improvements on the South Perimeter Highway near Brady Road as the number of accidents in the area continue to be a regular occurrence.

While a permanent service road off Waverley Street to connect the Perimeter to Brady Road is still about a year away, the province is implementing temporary improvements, including reducing the speed from 100 km/h to 80 km/h between Kenaston Boulevard and PR 330 (La Salle turnoff).

A number of streets in Winnipeg’s Exchange District will be closed for overnight film production next week.

The closures are scheduled to last from Monday, October 21 to Friday, October 25 to accommodate “Nobody,” a film starring “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul” actor Bob Odenkirk.

WINNIPEG — Motorists who frequently use Pembina Highway will no doubt appreciate the reopening of the Pembina Highway Underpass.

The roadway at Jubilee Avenue was flowing smoothly in all directions Friday as dignitaries cut a ribbon to signify the end of construction.
