Winnipeg motorists who frequent the intersection of Leila Avenue and McPhillips Street may want to plan a different route this weekend.
The city says paving operations will limit traffic in the area from 6 a.m. Saturday, August 29 to 6 p.m. Sunday, August 30.
- No east-west travel through the intersection on Leila
- Westbound vehicles must turn right onto northbound McPhillips
- Eastbound traffic will close at Watson Street
- Access to businesses between Watson and McPhillips will be maintained
- There will be no left turn from northbound McPhillips onto Leila
- Southbound McPhillips will be reduced to one through lane
- There will be no turns in either direction from southbound McPhillips onto Leila
Drivers should plan ahead, use alternate routes, and anticipate delays in the area.
