A 61-year-old man from Snow Lake, Manitoba was killed Thursday night when the vehicle he was driving lost control and rolled into the ditch.
RCMP say the vehicle was travelling south on Provincial Road 392, approximately eight kilometres south of Snow Lake, just before 7:30 p.m.
The vehicle hit the shoulder of the road and the driver was unable to regain control. RCMP say the vehicle entered the ditch and rolled several times.
The driver wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The 52-year-old man riding in the passenger seat — also from Snow Lake — suffered minored injuries and was taken to hospital.
RCMP continue to investigate the crash.
