Harvest Manitoba president and CEO Vince Barletta (HANDOUT)
WINNIPEG — Harvest Manitoba has named a new president and CEO to lead the charitable organization.
Vince Barletta will take over from Keren Taylor-Hughes, who stepped down from the position in August after four years.
Barletta was most recently the president and CEO of the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation and has served in various leadership roles in provincial and municipal government. He was previously leader of the YES! Winnipeg initiative at Economic Development Winnipeg.
“Harvest embodies the generosity and community spirit of Manitobans like no other organization can, and I am honoured to be joining them at this important time,” Barletta said in a statement. “I look forward to working with our Board, staff, volunteers, donors and other supporters to meet the challenges of food insecurity.”
Barletta will begin his new position on September 20.
