The Y Mind program provides tools and strategies to address mild-to-moderate anxiety, significantly improving participants’ overall mental health and well-being.

“The success of Y Mind in Winnipeg shows just how vital accessible mental health resources are for young people,” said Rebecca Trudeau, manager of mental health programs at YMCA-YWCA of Winnipeg.

Participants reported reduced anxiety symptoms, increased mindfulness, and better coping skills, with many noting improved mental health by the program’s end.
