Winnipeg police are investigating a hit-and-run that left an 18-year-old woman seriously injured near the intersection of St. Anne’s Road and Granby Bay.
The collision occurred around 3:30 a.m. on September 29, when the woman was crossing St. Anne’s Road and was struck by a vehicle traveling northbound. The driver fled the scene, leaving the victim on the roadway. She was found by a passing motorist who alerted emergency responders. Paramedics transported her to hospital, where her condition was stabilized.
