The Forks has opened its canopy rink for the season amid a drop in temperatures this week.
The rink opened to the public on Saturday and is the first skating surface available at The Forks this winter season. On-land trails, the rink by CN Stage, and the Nestaweya River Trail will open in the coming weeks.
A skate change area is available inside The Forks Market atrium. Those without their own skates can rent them from Iceland Skate Rentals, with hockey and figure skates available in all sizes.
Ice conditions will be updated frequently at theforks.com/skate.
