WINNIPEG — A book of condolences has been offered for the late Education and Early Childhood Learning Minister Nello Altomare.

The province says the book will be available at the base of the grand staircase at the Legislative Building in Winnipeg.

Members of the public are invited to sign the book daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. until Wednesday, January 22.

The flags at the legislature will remain at half-mast until the same day.

Altomare passed away earlier this week after a battle with cancer. He was 61.
