Lynn Lake RCMP are investigating after an officer’s home was targeted in an early morning incident on February 12.
At around 2 a.m., an officer was awakened by loud banging outside his residence. Another officer then called to report an attempted break-in at his home.
The suspects fled, but the officer later discovered significant damage to his police vehicle. An investigation led to the identification of two suspects.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested and charged with mischief under $5,000 and breaking and entering with intent. He was released on conditions.
RCMP are still searching for a second suspect.
