WINNIPEG — With Festival du Voyageur in full swing and a holiday on Monday, Louis Riel Day is the perfect time to head down and explore French-Canadian culture.
The 10-day event, which is Western Canada’s largest winter festival, kicked off on February 14.
Visitors can also take part in special Louis Riel Day programming, honouring the legacy of the Métis leader through storytelling, dance, and educational workshops.
