When both vehicles stopped at a convenience store near Arlington Street soonafter, the suspect allegedly confronted the woman again, punched her car window, and, along with a 19-year-old man, assaulted a 50-year-old man who tried to intervene. He sustained upper-body injuries but did not require hospitalization.

Police in the area witnessed the attack and arrested both suspects, who have been charged with assault causing bodily harm.

They were released to appear in court.
