Winnipeg Transit riders can now preview routes and plan trips on the city’s redesigned bus network, set to launch on June 29, 2025.
The new Primary Transit Network and its feeder routes are accessible for early testing through winnipegtransit.com and the Winnipeg Transit app.
“You can now see exactly how you’ll get anywhere in Winnipeg, with routes that are more frequent, more direct, and easier to use,” said Mayor Scott Gillingham. “This is a complete transformation of our transit system, with more efficient, more reliable service for more Winnipeggers.”
Trip planning tools now let riders preview how the new system will function by simulating mid-July dates. Printable timetables are also available on the Transit website. Riders are encouraged to test the system and report issues or odd results to 311 to help fine-tune the service before launch.
Construction of new infrastructure to support the network — such as stop signage and traffic signals — is ongoing and will continue beyond the launch.
