A 59-year-old woman is dead following a single-vehicle rollover near Ochre River late Friday night.

Dauphin RCMP were alerted around 11:45 p.m. on May 16 by an iPhone crash notification near Highway 5. Shortly after, a report confirmed a rollover on Road 140N in the RM of Lakeshore.

Police say the vehicle was heading east on a gravel road when it lost control crossing a rail line, entered a water-filled ditch, and overturned.

Several passersby pulled the woman from the vehicle before emergency responders arrived. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

RCMP continue to investigate the crash.
