WINNIPEG — Broadcasters across Manitoba are uniting for a province-wide radiothon on Thursday, June 5, to raise funds for wildfire evacuees through the Canadian Red Cross.

The Manitoba Day of Caring for Wildfire Evacuees will see over 30 radio stations from communities including Winnipeg, Brandon, Steinbach, and Winkler dedicate airtime to fundraising and awareness efforts.

Proceeds will support the Red Cross 2025 Manitoba Wildfires Appeal, aiding families displaced by ongoing wildfires across the province.

How to show your support:

  • Donate to the Red Cross online at RedCross.ca
  • Text the word RADIO to 20222 to donate $10
  • Share via social media using #MBDayOfCaring
