The City of Brandon has announced the official opening dates for its popular outdoor summer amenities.
All five city spray parks will open on Friday. Three unsupervised parks — Stanley Park, Kin Park, and Valleyview Community Centre — will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Two supervised locations at Rideau Park and Westridge Spray Park will follow staggered hours in June before shifting to full-day hours in July and August.
The Kinsmen Pool at 411 Park Street is set to open on June 15, offering scheduled swim sessions including public, family, lap, and adult swim. Entry fees range from free for infants to $7 for adults, with family and punch card options available.
Residents are encouraged to bring their own towels and non-glass refreshments.
