Winnipeg police have arrested three people following an investigation into drug and firearm trafficking in the Rossmere neighbourhood.
On July 20, search warrants were executed at a home in the 200 block of Devon Avenue, where officers seized more than $112,000 worth of drugs, a loaded handgun, an empty 50-round drum magazine, and other trafficking-related items. The drugs included nearly one kilogram of cocaine, along with crack, MDMA, psilocybin, and hydrocodone.
A man and a woman were initially taken into custody. A second man was arrested August 1 as the investigation continued.
Devin Dixon, 29, and Jayden Firth, 26, face numerous drug and firearms charges and remain in custody. A 43-year-old woman, also charged, was released on an undertaking.
