Festival du Voyageur is calling on the community to donate memorabilia for a special museum exhibit opening in February.

Officials say it’s part of a growing collection that will lead up to the festival’s 60th anniversary in 2029.

Organizers are looking for photographs, posters, branded merchandise, trophies, artwork, and other items that reflect the festival’s history of arts, heritage, and community.

Donations can be dropped off at the Festival du Voyageur office at 233 Provencher Boulevard, or coordinated by phone at (204) 237-7692 or email at info@heho.ca.

All items must be donated rather than loaned. Donors will be asked to complete a short questionnaire so the organization can properly document contributions.

Next year’s Festival du Voyageur runs from February 13 to 22.
