Winnipeg police used Air 1 and a drone to locate a stolen pickup truck earlier this week after its owner tracked a pair of AirPods left inside.

The 2020 Ford F-150 was reported stolen around 9 p.m. on Tuesday after being left running and unattended near Portage Avenue and Roseberry Street. About 30 minutes later, officers found the truck parked in a lot on William Avenue and arrested a man and a woman nearby.

A 41-year-old man has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and released with a future court date. The 39-year-old woman was released without charges.
