The Winnipeg Goldeyes have re-signed infielder Ramón Bramasco, the club announced Monday, securing the return of one of their most productive players heading into the 2026 American Association season.
Bramasco, 28, led the Goldeyes in several offensive categories last season, posting a team-best .289 batting average along with seven home runs, 51 RBIs, 108 hits, 63 walks, and 96 games played. His performance earned him the 2025 Pepsi Goldeyes Player of the Year award. He previously hit .286 in his 2024 debut season, helping Winnipeg reach the Miles Wolff Cup Final.
A native of Bellflower, California, Bramasco spent two seasons with the Tigres de Quintana Roo in the Mexican Baseball League before joining the Goldeyes. He also played three collegiate seasons with the University of Washington Huskies.
“Getting Ramón back was a top priority for us this off-season,” said Goldeyes field boss Logan Watkins. “He’s been one of our most impactful players and leaders these past few years. His consistent production is uncommon, and we are thrilled to have him back.”
Winnipeg now has six players signed for the 2026 campaign.
