A 17-year-old boy has died following a two-vehicle collision just east of Carman on Wednesday morning.
Manitoba RCMP responded to the scene on Highway 3 at around 6:35 a.m. where two trucks had collided.
Police say it appears the eastbound truck slid and hit a westbound truck. Weather and highway conditions are believed to have been a factor, which resulted in snow- and slush-covered roads at the time.
The 17-year-old Carman male driving the eastbound vehicle died of his injuries, while the 40-year-old Winnipeg man in the westbound truck was transported to hospital in Winnipeg. He was in stable condition at last report.
RCMP continue to investigate.
