Manitoba RCMP say a 49-year-old man has succumbed to his injuries after being assaulted in the RM of Ste. Anne.
Steinbach RCMP responded to the assault last Saturday, which sent the victim to hospital with life-threatening injuries just before midnight. He died a few hours later.
The man’s death is being treated as a homicide, and RCMP continue to investigate.
No arrests have been made, and no additional information is available.
