A Winnipeg-based non-profit has launched an upgraded online platform aimed at making it easier for Manitobans to find and manage in-home care.
Care Possible, the home care and respite service operated by Manitoba Possible, has rolled out enhancements to its platform designed to help individuals and families connect more quickly with trusted care providers while reducing barriers related to cost and complexity.
Key upgrades include a mobile-first design that works across phones, tablets, and computers, along with a streamlined onboarding process for both clients and care providers. Users can now sign up, search for providers, manage bookings, and communicate about care needs more easily through a single platform.
The launch coincides with National Caregiver Month in May.
“Care Possible was founded to eliminate barriers faced by caregivers — including challenges finding good care providers, financial barriers, administrative complexities, and caregiver stress and burnout,” said Michael Coutts, director, social enterprise at Manitoba Possible, in a release.
“These updates to the platform will make it easier for our community to connect with the care they need.”
There are now more than 3,000 registered users on the platform since it launched in October 2022. For more information, visit carepossible.ca.
