Minutes later, at 2:58 a.m., crews responded to a grass and wildland fire near Archibald Street and Elizabeth Road. Firefighters using specialized wildland equipment worked to contain the blaze, which covered an area roughly half the size of a football field, bringing it under control at 4:55 a.m. No injuries were reported. That fire is also under investigation.

“WFPS urges residents to take precautions as it monitors an elevated risk for wildland and grass fires, driven by forecasted winds,” officials said in a statement.
