Harry Lazarenko Bridge (MANITOBA HISTORICAL SOCIETY)
The Harry Lazarenko Bridge will close this weekend as the city conducts routine maintenance and inspections.
The closure will be in effect from 6 a.m. Saturday to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 7.
Drivers planning to cross the Red River at Redwood Avenue will need to take an alternate route.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the weekend with alternating sidewalk closure on either side of the bridge.
Motorists are asked to allow for additional travel time and use alternate routes to reach their destinations.
