An 86-year-old man from Teulon has died following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 8 near Gimli.

Manitoba RCMP responded to the crash at the intersection of Highway 8 and Provincial Road 229 at around 2:40 p.m. Thursday.

Officers arrived alongside EMS and fire crews to find a sedan in the southwest ditch with heavy damage, and a pickup truck with extensive front-end damage on the highway.

RCMP continue to investigate.
