Hot 103’s Ace Burpee has been on a mission the last few months to bring a popular item of his childhood back to Winnipeg. We’re talking about Beep! — the drink. And yes, there is an exclamation mark at the end.
The fruity beverage from the 1980’s is only sold in Nova Scotia, but Ace has imported just under 1,000 little boxes to the city.
Starting today, “Beep! Bash 2009” rolls out, in which Ace will be selling boxes of the drink in support of Winnipeg Harvest from the Hot 103 Jeep.
Locations on where you can pick some up will be posted on his Twitter page. He anticipates to sell out quickly, especially with all the money going to charity.
