One Winnipeg family will spend the night in a 4,093 sq. ft. home in Southe Point as part of a “million dollar sleepover.”
Radio station 99.9 BOB FM is hosting the sleepover at 86 Brookstone Place tonight for the Bembenek family, complete with pizza, games and movies. Not a bad way to start the weekend, huh?
The million dollar home located in the city’s new Waverley West development is up for grabs as part of one of the grand prizes in this year’s HSC Foundation Home Lottery. More than half of the tickets for the luxurious prizes have already been sold.
On Saturday, Chef Heiko from The Gates on Roblin will cook up a delicious breakfast for the Bembeneks in their temporary home away from home. The family won’t walk away from the experience empty handed, though. As part of their contest winning from BOB FM, they’ll receive a 108-inch projection TV, along with three HSC lottery tickets. Hopefully they win the house, because the extra space will come in handy for finding somewhere to put that giant TV.
The only downside? The family has to put up with morning hosts Beau, Tom and Frazier from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday as they broadcast live from the house. We kid. They’re all really nice.
The family won the opportunity to spend the night in the home as part of a contest put on by the radio station.
