September 24, 2010 6:49 AM | Sports

It’s a big weekend at University Stadium, as the Manitoba Bisons football team hosts their homecoming game against the Calgary Dinos on Saturday.

The Dinos (2-1) sit in fourth place in CIS rankings, with the Bisons clinching a 1-2 record after dropping the first two games of the season. The Bisons redeemed themselves last weekend on the road with a big win over the UBC Thunderbirds 40-17.

The Bisons know the fight their up against on Saturday against the Dinos and are coming prepared.

Watch:

Game time is 1 p.m. (101.5 UMFM, Shaw TV) with plenty of pre-game festivities on campus prior to kickoff.

Gates open at noon for the traditional tailgate BBQ, and after the pre-game the Commerce Students’ Association will hold its annual Car Smash Fundraiser beside the stadium.

Manitoba has won five of the last eight match-ups during the annual homecoming games.
