Winnipeg Goldeyes games will be heard on Sports Radio 1290 for the next three years.
The CTV-owned station and the baseball club made the announcement Thursday, renewing their partnership to keep the voice of the Goldeyes, Paul Edmonds, on the air for the foreseeable future.
Besides calling every game, Edmonds will bring fans two magazine programs every weekend. “Around the Association” will air before every Saturday game, featuring news from across the American Association, while “55 With Forney” will air before every Sunday game, where fans will get the chance to interact with Goldeyes’ manager Rick Forney. Both shows will run 90 minutes.
Edmonds will also host “The Inside Pitch” once a month from January to April leading up to the season. The two-hour show will have guests from the Goldeyes, American Association and the baseball community in general.
